Boston, June 29, 2010 - J. Robert Scott, a leading global retainer-based executive search firm, recently continued the expansion of its technology practice with the addition of Terry Chuah as managing director in its San Francisco office. Chuah will be responsible for identifying and recruiting senior professionals for venture-backed technology companies both regionally and internationally.

Earlier this month, the firm added two managing directors to its technology practice, including Steve Maxwell in Boston and Grace Borrelli in London.

“Terry brings nearly 15 years of executive search experience to our team, as well as a strong background in the alternative and renewable energy, industrial technology, manufacturing and high technology sectors, garnered while working in a variety of operational roles at companies within these sectors,” said Erik Lundh, managing director and head of J. Chuah joins J. Robert Scott from Heidrick & Struggles, where he was a partner based in Menlo Park, Calif. He began his executive search career at Russell Reynolds Associates in Melbourne, Australia and subsequently successfully started and ran a boutique executive search firm. He has conducted assignments for an extensive range of global corporations, small- and medium-sized organizations, as well as private equity- and venture-backed companies. Prior to working in the search industry, Chuah held executive positions at significant energy companies in Australia. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of New South Wales in Australia.
